Indirect: Boss ordered/instructed to follow him.

Direct: Anjali said to her boss, “Please grant me leave for a day.”

Indirect: Anjali requested her boss to grant her leave for a day.

Direct: She said to her friends, “Please do not tell a lie.”

Indirect: She requested her friends not to tell a lie.

Direct: The Principal said to us, “Don’t make a noise.”

Indirect: The Principal instructed/ordered us not to make a noise.

Direct: Ayansh said, “Fantastic! We have won the match.”

Indirect: Ayansh exclaimed with joy that they had won the match.

Direct: My uncle said, “Well done! You have done a good job.”

Indirect: My uncle exclaimed with joy that I had done a good job.

Direct: She said, “Oh! I lost my pen.”

Indirect: She exclaimed with sorrow that she had lost her pen.

Direct: Aman said, “Good bye, friends!”

Indirect: Aman bade his friends good bye.

Direct: Sachin said to me, “Good evening, Sir!”

Indirect: Sachin wished me good evening.

Direct: She said, "When I was swimming, I got a cramp.

Indirect: She said that when she was swimming, she got a cramp.

Direct: "What did you miss when you were in prison?" Mary asked Jim.

Indirect: Mary asked Jim what he missed when he was in prison.

Direct speech: She said, "If it doesn’t rain, I’ll go for a walk".

Indirect speech: She said that if it didn’t rain, she’d go for a walk.

Change the following in-direct speech sentences to direct narration.
